For example, VEE's management fee was lowered from 0. For example, XEM's management fee is still 0. The same applies to ETF improvements. When Vanguard decided, lately, to broaden the international indices they were tracking to include small-caps in additional to large and mid-caps , they did it for existing ETFs. They are really good!
I'm pretty much almost sold on Vanguard but have the following questions: - How can I independently verify Vanguard's claim that the ownership of the ETFs manager is actually investor owned? The statement is there on the vanguard website but I feel that is not the best way to verify such claims.

No one, other than the funds and their shareholders, owns a piece of Vanguard. We really are the only mutual mutual fund company. In addition, four burners give the chef more control over the heat of the griddle. The more burners there are, the more the heat can vary from one zone of the griddle to another. With four burners, meat could be cooked on one side of the griddle at one temperature while potatoes are cooked on the other side at a different temperature.
This is much more difficult to accomplish, and sometimes impossible, with only two burners. Keep in mind that having twice the burners does not necessarily mean that the griddle can cook twice the amount of food. BTUs work in much the same way as calories in animals; the more BTUs the griddle can expend, the more heat it is capable of producing.
In essence, it is a unit of energy in the form of heat.
