Where is instructor razuvious

Comment by Thottbot dont post comments like this on forums when u dont know whats going on. Comment by Thottbot Just a tip. Me and my fellow warlocks cast Curse of Shadows on each on the guards so that the resist chance of mind control is lowered, this seems very affective in our guild after 10 or so kills. Comment by Allakhazam Woot!

Comment by Allakhazam Those Deathknights understudy are hilarious: if you missclick razu and attack another Deathknight they will be one-shotted for k dmg :. Comment by Allakhazam No point in using this mob info to increase your e-penis by saying "downed by xxx". This guy is really easy when you understand his few abilities.

The hard part, which isn't even that hard, is done by the mind controllers. We got desecrated sandals, girdle of the mentor and splinter, very fun and different fight :D.

Comment by Allakhazam Anyone has ever got this on that fight? The icon on the bar is ready, theres no more cooldown on it, but its still sayin "Ability is not ready yet". Comment by Allakhazam He's easy, besides from the hard part, hmm.. Comment by Allakhazam killed yesterday on eu-blackmoore. Comment by Allakhazam solo killed by me AM US server Stormrage took 32 seconds, and im a hunter, just dps'ed him smooth and clean.

It is said that his own technique is so potent, only a disciple of his could possibly withstand his might. Instructor Razuvious yells: An honorable Instructor Razuvious yells: Sweep the leg Do you have a problem with that?

Instructor Razuvious yells: The time for practice is over! Classic TBC. Classic Theme Thottbot Theme. Quick Facts. Comments Comment by smcn This is the first boss of the "Deathknight" south-west wing of Naxxramas. Comment by This is the easiest boss in Naxxramas. Razuvious hits too hard for a player to tank him, so you must keep an Understudy mind controlled at ALL times to tank him.

If he goes loose on the rogues they must pop evasion immediately if they get aggro to tank him shortly. You must keep Razuvious out of line of sight from the casters at all times or he'll one shot them all when he does his Disrupting Shout. If you set him up just out of Line of Sight at the bottom of the stairs on the right side you need to place the tanking understudy just in line of sight so the healers can heal it. When the Understudy's Mind Control is almost up have the second priest who is on Mind Control duty start mind controlling and get him over to Razuvious.

The priest should make the Understudy pop Shield Wall then Taunt instantly to pick up aggro, having the Understudy auto attack is enough for them to keep aggro off the DPS. They hit pretty hard. This fight is very simple and just requires the priest's to deal with any resist on Mind Control very fast, and the tanks to taunt the non mind controlled Understudy off the priest quickly before he gets to the priest.

That's the entire fight right there. Melee can stay in and DPS Razuvious the entire fight and ranged dps make sure to get out of the Disrupting Shout so you can stay alive.

The shout will do twice as much damage as you have mana. So if they are oom they can stay out wanding or auto shooting. And you get out of combat. No need for soulstone! Comment by Smorfty Hunter specific tips: - Stand on the opposite side of the opening from the boss so you get some range - No multishots, hunters spamming it damages the tanked adds a lot - Use serpent sting since your not using any mana on multishot - Some people come with the idea that hunters can stand out all the time since our mana is so low we can't die from the Razuviouses shouts but this is a bad idea since your dps will be crap - Even if you're not using multishot you should feign death about 2 times in the whole fight.

Off-tank the adds and just burn Razuvious. You still should LoS the shout, it will still drain most of your mana even at level This is easy to do if you tank him near the ramp, then just line of sight when the cooldown is almost up.

A note to healers: The tank will often take a spike of damage that must be healed up quickly. Otherwise, you should not notice a huge drop in HP too often.

Comment by citrique As of today this boss can be soloed again by a blood DK now that gear has caught up. You will need a minimum ilevel of worth of gear to do this boss, and full consumables fort scroll, stam flask, kings drums, food buff. You will stack mastery with double stam trinkets. Start with one crystal to MC one of the adds.

Taunt Raz and bring him as far towards the back of the room as possible. Put up bone shield and spam blood strike until the add dies. When it dies, use army and tank Raz and the other add. Raz's melee swings are about K and Unbalancing Strike is anywhere from K, on a DK in this gear with blood presence. Jagged Knife and Disrupting Shout hit for virtually nothing and are non-factors.

For the time being DKs remain the only class capable of soloing this boss and barring major changes, will likely be the only class that can solo it until the next expansion. I mean an "undead" version of him you can see that he even grew a beard after some time dead. I mean, look at his TCG picture. Comment by TheHeroOfTheDawn For those attempting to solo this boss, be wary of the the Unholy Axes in the room behind him those can end your attempt fast if they get involved in the fight.

However, with 4. Strategy: MC first Understudy. Taunt both mobs Boss first, then other understudy. MC'd second Understudy. Ran back after taunting the boss. Went to freaking town- cycled cooldowns, etc. Word of wisdom: Do. With Outbreak. And don't let Scarlet Fever or Frost Fever ever drop off. Comment by Felreaper This is doable, yet fairly hard. Me prot warrior and my hunter friend charged managed to kill him, but I died at the very end We just ran in, kill the death knights as fast as possible, then burned the boss.

My ilvl is What I did was, MC the first guy, let him die, then quickly killed the second one. After that I went on to the boss. I found this to be one of the trickiest fights to solo. You need to spread out your defensive cooldowns. There was a point during the fight where I had used all my cooldowns and dropped to about 30k HP, but I managed to pull through. I also had to use a bandage at one point.

I did Comment by Just solo'd, ilvl blood dk. Didn't think it was possible but I really wanted the 1H sword off Gothik, so I gave it a shot. Comment by Kanariya Unbalancing Strike will now increase your chance to be critically struck, instead of reducing your defense, in Patch 5.

Comment by when soloing, 10 man mc one add then pull other add and boss into the next room but away from unholy weapons after the add dies, you will have enough time to lose debuff before the boss and add reach you the boss hits very hard and i don't see how most classes can solo this other then dks and maybe palidans.

Comment by I would also like to throw in, for this boss and only this boss i did it in tank gear. Comment by Just finished him. Of course blood dk. Stack as much mastery as possible. Necessary HP pool should be around k. But have two dps trinkets from dungeons. Use cd's very smoothly, Firstly I use gnoul , just for taking unbalanced strike when i switched to another understudy.

That pop up vampiric blood and DS, RS. Keep scarlet fever and all deseases up all the time. Kite him on circles, cause if You stand he will rape You : , Than dancing weapon, IF if it is getting nasty, by this moment vampiric blood will be ready once more, then gnoul will be ready too.

For myself, I used Cd when I was under rk. Of course need to be fully hit capped and expertise should be on a pretty decent lvl - I lack 6. Comment by Ethlin His unbalancing strike has finally been upgraded. The original one reduced defense by , yet remained unchanged after defense was removed. When 5. I am not sure if this came with 5. I'm not sure what the increased crit rate is either. Comment by Esploratore People downrate? I copy and paste, see where this goes. This post was back from 5.

Let's see also something at 25, since he died at 25 as well now. His unbalancing strike does like 70k on 10, which becomes almost k on 25, so actually he hits a bit harder, and also melee hits are harder; I also have the feeling he does unbalancing strikes more often on 25! Then ofc he has 4 adds which deal 5k each, so you have to kill adds first.

Starting with army is a really nice idea to stack blood shield. Getting to the boss requires an invisibility potion, NEVER engage death knight cavaliers on 25 man, they have a shield which absorbs 1,2 millions damage, refreshed after 1 minute!

Icebound fortitude and heal back; you drop low again? Vampiric blood, ghoul and heal back. Never use all cds when you drop low, since it will happen a lot of times. I kited him backwards in circle for 12 mins to kill him, was close in the end, he started consecutive unbalancing when he had k, but made it.

Comment by Esploratore And once again, people downrate, I post again, see where this goes. Indeed, this was crazy, soloed him at tank item level; I have like dps, and haven't been able with it. As blood dk you can basically ignore his melee hits of 15k, they get completely healed and absorb stacks up very fast, k blood shield, but then I mind controlled an add as well and let him die, then let the other one alive, else razuvious would've done an unbalancing strike immediately.

Kept outbreak on him and kited, now also with and better tank item level with k hp unbuffed, I still had to kite backwards, else the damage would've been too high, not sure how dks soloed him months ago without kiting! Same as ghoul, all cds you normally save for when you are almost dead, here should be used as soon as you take some damage, so they'll be ready again later, AS LONG AS you don't overheal.

Like someone else said, at my level of gear some unlucky unbalancing strike spams can still wipe you, but with some more levels it should be possible to one-shot him, at least kiting. Usually takes me 5 wipes or so before getting enough luck parrying some unbalancing when I'm at low hp. Comment by bamf Solo'd first try as a prot pally in ilvl gear. Comment by Attention 90 ret Paladins trying to solo him: respec to prot. I'd MC one guy just so the boss would kill him, go to MC the 2nd one and it'd bug out leaving just the boss.

My ret gear is offspec, so avg ilvl of The boss just tears through my health in k chunks, and even with LoH, it's just too much. Respecced to prot, unbalancing strike went down to 72k wearing the exact same gear, minus a MH and shield ty AH.

Put a colossus enchant on the MH, went back in and it was a joke. It took 4 minutes to kill, I used LoH, but it wasn't a hard fight at all. Save yourself a headache, go prot. Comment by Ninja after 5. If anyone is able to do it please post how. Comment by Soloed as a Wind Walker Monk with a ilvl.

Comment by Yark1y Soloed as Retribution Paladin from 1st try man version. I'll add video of this next week. Forgot to fraps it down : Kill video as promised before Thanks for downvotes xD. As soon as that runs out, pop your first evasion and then prep, so you have another cloak in case things get hairy. When your first evasion is running out, use your 2nd, and he should die before the end of the second evasion.

Other than that, just burn him and maybe keep recup running or shiv for extra health. Health potions don't hurt either. Just run in, kill the adds, dps down the boss.

He didn't really do anything worth mentioning. Comment by liperusso Soloed as a 90 demo lock ilvl using and my Voidlord switching threat and healing with Charred Glyph. Comment by uh60pin I just solo'ed him today on my fury warrior, item lvl I used my Terracotta Fragment and it also helps to have that Second Wind talent. Popped all cd's, charged in and did a bladestorm to burn down the adds, then just finished off the boss. I could outheal every other boss with second wind.

I've tried popping flasks, potions both battle and heal , drums, different stances etc. Comment by recca Solo'd him today as a 90 Elemental Shaman. Then he went down fairly easily I did have to use a Life Spirit once, but no big deal otherwise admittedly I am in mostly lfr gear though. Comment by peilthetraveler Solo'd him as a 90 Feral Druid ilevel This guy was the hardest guy in Naxx for me to solo.

Pretty much everyone else was a piece of cake This guy killed me a few times but I finally beat him. For those that are interested, you can not beat this guy in Cat form. First thing to do is use that controller thing to try to kill the other guard as much as you can.

If you are lucky the other guard might get to you before Raz does and you can use cat form to take him out quickly, but you really need to get into bear form as soon as Raz is on you. Next you need to pop survival instinces, Might of ursoc, heart of the wild and barkskin because its still kind of a long fight and you will probably get a chance to use barkskin again.

As for fighting him, do not use anything that uses rage. Just Mangle, Lacerate, and thrash and use your rage for frenzied regeneration. Dont forget to use faerie fire too when your other buttons are on cooldown. Every point helps. I used 1 master healing potion and Renewal twice during the fight. I also had eaten a chun tien spring roll. That gives me k hit points in cat form and k in bear k with MoU on.

I barely had enough hp to survive that fight. I just wanted to let you fellow druids know that all of Naxx CAN be solo'd by you, so you still have hope. Comment by comeonit Simply soloable as a discipline priest 10 - man 5.

Comment by Glenmorgan soloed 10man as enh shammy, used primal earth elemental to tank a bit at first, then as much dps as i could, all the cooldowns, totems, as it was gettin hot i used feral spirit, shamanistic rage, astral shift. He hits hard and after such a hit i had prepared maelstorm weapon for instant healing surge. Comment by gtadem Solo'ed as an ilevel balance druid. I MCed the trainees one at a time. Once they were dead, I shifted into bear form and used Lacerate, Mangle, Frenzied Regeneration, Barkskin, and Cenarion Ward on cooldown, while keeping Rejuvenation up at all times.

Comment by Bunco If you are just trying to do a speed xmog run and don't need anything from this guy, save yourself the trouble and just run right past him. Comment by DerGole Well, my first tries where a pain in the ass. Then I switched talents from ret to prot, equipped a shield but rest DPS and he then was easy peasy.

Heal yourself with selfless healer and Word of Glory, Bubble and Lay on Hands if needed wasn't in my case and let him kill his minions first by controlling them one at a time.

Comment by Cakechart Fairly easy to solo as a Retribution paladin on 25man difficulty. If you can't keep up with the healing it's most likely due to bad gear, and you should simply go Prot to trivialize the encounter. Ret is definitely faster, though! Comment by hootstwo Just soloed for the first time ever. I've tried as ret a few times before only to be summarily pounded into the ground in a relatively short order.

Just did as holy, and was a relatively easy fight I'm mainspec heals, so my holy gear is much better than my ret. I healed as soon as holy power was at a max which occurs pretty regularly as long as you're keeping your holy shocks going as well as crusader strike. To those holy mains, give it a whirl in your holy gear and you might encounter more success.

Comment by nicatnite I just soloed him today as fire mage. Ignoring the adds I just fired up a pyroblast followed by living bomb and then popped mirror image and time warp.

Then I proceded to go to town. When mirror image was up I popped alter time. Comment by Sorathez This was the boss that I was most worried about more so than Patchwerk when I decided to solo naxx Turns out I was right to worry.

I did it as an Assassination Rogue ilvl. In this fight I only managed to reach 5 CPs twice I think picking the Marked for Death talent will make this fight much easier , used the first on SnD, and the second on Envenom.

The fight won't last long enough for Rupture to be useful. Comment by imbam4g3 Don't let the previous comments about how hard this guy hits scare you as a frostmage. I just killed him with ilvl gear all from LFR, Valor points and world bosses. MC'ed the first add to start the fight, when that one died I MC'ed the second add and kited the boss to the back of his arena.

When the second add died I cast Mirror Image , , Kafa Press if you don't have this item use Time Warp instead , resummoned my Water Elemental it got dismissed when I used MC , placed a glyphed Rune of Power for good measure though you could probably do fine without and nuked away. Boss died before he even had a chance to hit me though he and the second add did manage to get in a swing or two when I had to switch MC to the second add.

Since on 25m there are no orbs, I dotted up all 4 adds and the boss with Nether Tempest for the pull. The adds go down pretty fast this way, they don't hit that hard anyway, plus while they're still alive Nether Tempest will also damage the boss.

I focused on the boss straight after dotting everything up, because he was hitting me between k and k that's normal hits, I don't even want to know what happens if he gets a crit ;.

Popped the same cooldowns as above, also used glyphed Rune of Power and of course Ice Barrier. Healed myself up with once and recast glyphed Rune of Power at some point. Killed him on the first attempt this way, though I had very little health to spare. Realized afterwards that I had forgotten to use Time Warp , oops ; Good luck and have fun! He went down fairly fast - no need to worry about the aids either, although if you have a lower item level you might want to get the Glyph of Mending to get your pet an extra 'oomf' when healing them as he still hits fairly hard - only you're not taking the brunt of it - your pet is.

Comment by kijahroo No, he does not reset if you run through his little place Comment by Rogark Soloed as an Assassination Rogue on man mode with ilvl It was a lot easier than I thought it'd be. My only buffs were flask, well fed and kings buff from drums. These allow me to reduce damage taken and instantly apply 3 stacks of armor reduction for shorter ramp-up time. Leeching Poison and Combat Readiness are the only important talents.

Pre-pot, stealth and attack boss. AoE adds down with FoK while targeting boss. As soon as CR ends, use Evasion. Use Preparation and then Evasion again just after the first one ends. The boss should die soon after your second Evasion ends.

If he doesn't, your Cloak should be back up by now. I killed the boss about seconds after my second Evasion ended. This was with around k dps in the beginning and k in the end, so it might be harder with less dps. Comment by wolfstan Frost DK
