When do i unlock the m40a5 in bf3

I cannot find a definitive source for this, but apparently: 40mm flechette rounds are unlocked after ten 40mm grenade launcher kills 40mm smoke rounds are unlocked after twenty 40mm grenade launcher kills Why this can't be displayed in the battlelog in some form along with all the other zillions of weapons unlocks, I have no idea.

I use this rifle with a INRV scope, straight pull bolt and canted ironsights and it's solid for close range battles. User Info: w00dy I haven't played bf4 since the release of titanfall. I also hardly snipe, But when I do, I use the m40a5. I unlocked the srr61 a day before tf released and played 1 game with it. I feel once I get back into bf4 and snipe, I'll still use the m It was my go to rifle in bf3 and love it just as much in bf4. I know the bullet drop almost perfectly at most ranges and just love it.
